Python & Jupyter integration

Once you move beyond spreadsheets, Python has become the language of choice for large scale data analytics and machine learning, especially on financial data. A library called pandas, developed at the hedge fund AQR, offers an in memory columnar datastore with many built in functions that makes data analysis easy. Jupyter notebooks offer a browser based interface to working with Python and pandas that is a joy for many researchers.
